I had started and completed my PPL in a Cessna 152. After that was completed, I wanted to be able to fly the Cessna 172. The key difference was that the 172 is slightly bigger so it is able to hold more fuel and more passengers. This would give me the freedom of taking more friends with me on a flight.

A week after I had received my license, on Oct 27th,  I was scheduled for a checkout in a 172 with David. He walked me through the key differences in the planes and how I need to be prepared for that. The transition was very simple. I had to keep the plane at a higher speed for landing due to its increased weight. After that, there was no looking back to a 152! 🙂

I’m Zef

Hey there, fellow aviation enthusiasts! I’m thrilled to welcome you to my corner of the internet where the sky is not the limit—it’s just the beginning.

As a skydiver, wingsuiter, and pilot, I’ve made it my mission to live life above the clouds. Whether I’m freefalling, soaring through the air in a wingsuit, or piloting an aircraft, the thrill of flight is my constant companion.

Blue skies and tailwinds.
